I make an image of a new work and I write an essay about the origins of my work. The essay doesn't explain the work directly but I provide a written essay in my solo exhibitions so the audience can know more about why I created this image.

A Thought on Observing Time” - After the 11 March 2011 earthquake–

I have made a series of works [ A Thought on Observing Time ] since 2003. There are object works and drawings. The theme has been the life cycle of plants. Now I have embarked on a new project called “crisis of life”. This is because of the large amount of radiation from the Fukushima nuclear power plant after March 11, 2011 .
